Christa Grix is at the vanguard of the modern harp, expanding the creative dimensions of this appealing instrument. "I draw upon all kinds of music", she says, "from classical to jazz, and even some funk and blues to make my harp sing". Christa has performed with Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin, as well as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Michigan Opera Theatre. Other recordings by Christa include "Joy to the World" with the Renaissance Voices.
Pete Siers is like the Eveready Bunny - he keeps going, and going, and going . . . One of the hottest talents on the jazz scene today, Pete can also be heard with Russell Malone on "Black Butterfly" on Columbia Records. Pete has played with Eddie Daniels, Mulgrew Miller, Mark Murphy and Doc Cheatham, among others.
Bruce Dondero began his playing career in Los Angeles, where he met his mentor, the great bassist John Clayton. One of the swingingest bass players around, Bruce can also be heard on "Live at the Bird of Paradise" Vol. I, and "Just In Time" with vocalist Patti Richards.
