Austin Symphony's principal harpist since 1992, Elaine Barber is one of central Texas' premiere classical harpists.  In addition to performing with groups such as Austin Lyric Opera, San Antonio Symphony, Chamber Soloists of Austin, Salon Concerts, Musical Offerings, and Cactus Pear Music Festival, she offers music (classical, jazz, Celtic) for weddings and events in the Austin area. As a teacher, she has shared her passion for the music of the harp with students at Austin Chamber Music Center and Sewanee Summer Music Festival, and now has a private studio of aspiring harpists aged seven to seventy!  Elaine has a MM from the Shepherd School of Music, Rice University.

Kela Walton is a professional harpist available to provide enchanting harp music for wedding ceremonies and receptions; parties; benefits and other special events.  She has been performing and teaching in Central and Southeast Texas since 1998.  She teaches pedal and lever harp to students of all ages and skill levels, and previously served as harp instructor on the faculty of the University of Houston Moores School of Music Preparatory and Continuing Studies Program.  Kela holds a BM in Harp Performance from UT Austin where she studied with Gayle Barrington, and a MM in Harp Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Houston where she studied with Paula Page.
