Alison Read has been performing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over fifteen years.  She performs regularly with orchestras and churches in the area, in addition to maintaining a private teaching studio in Dallas.  She frequently performs as a soloist or with one of her many small ensembles for private functions, such as weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions and offers a wide variety of musical styles, including classical, popular, and Irish music. Ms. Read received a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from the prestigious Oberlin Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music from Southern Methodist University.  She established the harp department at Stephen F.
