Bardina's
Forest — Stephanie Bennett — Songs
and stories about animals, nature & dreams, with harp music; (not just) for
kids. Bardina, a cousin of the fairy Thumbelina, is a bard: a person who
sings songs and tells stories while playing the harp. On this recording,
Bardina shares an enchanting fairy tale and several songs with TRUE stories that
celebrate the wonders of nature and animals, and the miracle of imagination.
With words by Bardina, Hans Christian Andersen, Henry David Thoreau, and Peter
S. Beagle.

Celtic for Kids — A delightful collection of traditional songs for
children young and old. Barbary Grant plays Irish
harp and sings playful tunes from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and the Isle of Man,
(several in their native languages). Uilleann pipes, fiddle, flute, concertina,
bodhran, cello, dulcimer, and piano all come together on Barbary’s Celtic
playground. The sounds of milking, a young Irish step dancer and giggling babies
add to the fun. Celtic for Kids’ lively but gentle spirit is sure to appeal to
the whole family.
