USA INTERNATIONAL HARP
COMPETITION
Founded in 1989 by renowned harpist Susann McDonald, the USA International Harp
Competition is the largest and most lucrative harp competition in the world. The
triennial competition is open to harpists of all nationalities between the ages
of 16 and 32.
The 9th USA International Harp Competition will take place in Bloomington, Indiana July 10 – 20, 2013. Applications must be
postmarked no later than March 1, 2013 and sent to:

International Harp
Competition & Festival, The Netherlands
The Dutch Harp Festival is the revolutionary international
harp competition hosted in the Netherlands.
The first edition was held in 2010. Its unique combination of a competition and
a festival, where contestants competed as well as exchanged knowledge, enjoyed
concerts and visited master classes, together with its transparency and
innovations, meant a whole new approach to harp competitions.
The 3rd Dutch Harp Festival will take place 26 February to 2 March 2014
and promises to be something no music lover will want to miss.

International Harp
Competition of Italy
The International Harp Competition of Italy, open to harpists of all
nationalities, has been founded to support young talented harpists, to promote
the harp as solo instrument and its repertoire to a wider audience.
The 1st Edition will take place at the Teatro di Lanzo
D'intelvi (CO)
4th to 14th July 2014.

The International Harp
Contest in Israel
The prestigious International Harp Contest in Israel has been taking
place every 3 years since 1959.
The next, the 19th Contest, will take place 19 November to 3 December 2015.
The Final Stage with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will be
held on December 3rd, 2015, at the Mann Auditorium in Tel Aviv.
Contestants of all nationalities, under the age of 35, are admitted.
Applications must reach the contest by 1st May 2015.
