The "International Harp
Competition & Festival, The Netherlands" will take place in Utrecht, The
Netherlands from 23-27 March 2010. Founded by students, and supported by the
Dutch Harp Society and the Utrecht Conservatory, this event promises to be a
whole new approach to harp competitions.

USA INTERNATIONAL HARP
COMPETITION
Founded in 1989 by renowned harpist Susann McDonald, the USA International Harp
Competition is the largest and most lucrative harp competition in the world. The
triennial competition is open to harpists of all nationalities between the ages
of 16 and 32.
The Seventh USA International Harp Competition will be held on the campus of
Indiana University, Bloomington, July 2010. Applications must be
postmarked no later than March 1, 2010 and sent to:

The International Harp
Contest in Israel
The prestigious International Harp Contest in Israel has been taking
place every 3 years since 1959.
The next, the 17th Contest, will take place 6-20 October 2009.
The Final Stage will be played with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
Contestants of all nationalities, under the age of 35, are admitted.
Applications must reach the contest by 1st April 2009.
