International Music Service
— Welcome to the World's largest publisher and distributor of harp music! International Music Service was founded by the late Don Henry in 1958, when he
became accutely aware of the great inaccessibility of quality music in the harp repertoire at that time. He began researching, discovering and publishing harp
music. During his 37 years in this niche, he had acquired and compiled a most formidable catalog of harp music of over 4,500 titles. A great number of which
are published by him under the publication logo "LYRA MUSIC COMPANY."

Irminsul
- Third Millennium Celtic Harp — Celtic harp building a future
tradition. Irminsul is a composer/performer/recording artist not only as a
soloist, but on board the up and coming contemporary Celtic band "Stonecircle".
Blending a solid training in traditional Celtic harp with his near fanatical
urge to do something new and different, Irminsul has crafted his own sound, repertoire
and even performance techniques that create a fresh voice for the instrument.

Modern Harp
Played by Belgian Harpist JANU — Janu was born in the historical Belgian city of
Ghent, where she undertook studies from very young age at the Music Academy.
Soon, Janu got charmed by the romantic sound and enchantment of the harp as an
instrument, and specialized her musical education accordingly. Janu is now the
only harp musician in Belgium performing on four different instruments, the
Celtic, the Paraguayan, the classical and the electronic harp. She makes CD’s
and composes her own music.

Publications — Humor and variety abound in my arrangements and
original compositions for beginning and intermediate harp. I write with
the lever player in mind, but almost everything is appropriate on the pedal
harp. See samples at my site. My text, "Teaching the Lever Harp", has
16 chapters and covers topics from The Business of Teaching to Confident
Performing. Orders may be placed from my website.
