UnderWater
— Liz Ammerman — UnderWater realizes the liquid
effects of harp sounds through electronic enhancement. The track "Flute" is
actually an enhanced Native American flute, and the track "Harp" is actually
digitally altered harp music. If you're wondering what a harp in a barrel in a
tunnel sounds like, or if you're fond of the glass harmonica or Javanese
Gamelan, choose this CD. For the pure tones of the harp go to my other CD,
UnderWater_Pure.

Transparency — Liz Ammerman — This album
is like a review of my year (2008)… One of the unique things we do as artists is
take whatever happens in our lives, whatever we see or find, and process it
through art. Some of these pieces are a conscious attempt to introduce musical
dissonance in the form of seconds, sevenths, tritones and unexpected notes.
Most are structured improvisations that work with the "things we see and find."
