Both Sides
— Moonrakers is an Oxford-based multi-instrumental trio playing Celtic
traditional music and some original tunes and songs in the idiom. They play
harp, flute, cittern, guitar, whistles and sing in close harmony with male and
female voices. The over all sound is a rich texture of melody and
counter-melody, described by BBC Oxford as “an exquisite blend of relaxing
music“. Abi Strevens (flute, vocal) and Anna Lockett
(harps) are both classically trained. Jon Bennett (guitar, cittern, vocal,

VIBRARPA - SCIANTI
— The Vibrarpa duo (Raoul Moretti, harp + Marco
Bianchi, vibraphone) began working together a couple of years ago. After
discovering how their tone-colors mix together, they started the search for
“repertoire”. The outcome is their first CD “Scianti”, where you can find
different kinds of modern pieces (only Dragon Fly by Zitello is an original for
these two instruments, the others are personal arrangements), ranging from Satie
to Sting, going through Evergreens, New Age and pieces where their
improvisational skills comes out.

A Waulking Tour of Scotland takes listeners on a musical
excursion, featuring many styles of Scottish music. Waulking the cloth, work
usually done by women, would soften tweed and prepare it for wearing. Work songs
were sung to pass the time. These songs capture the essence of Scottish life in
their words and music, and are used as the milestones on this musical journey.

Of The Winter Wind - Ancient Sounds Of Christmas — Robert
Mouland — A wonderful
collection of instrumental music for the holidays. This recording features
historical instruments and rarely heard melodies, along with some more familiar
pieces. Harpsichord, Wire strung Irish Harp, Baroque violin, Baroque Flute,
Flageolet and Hurdy-Gurdy are not common sounds to modern ears, but the
combinations used here bring the listener to another time and seem so
appropriate to this ancient music. Tunes are from Ireland, Scotland, Wales,
England, France, Germany and even one from Poland.
