profit corporation. Founded in 1962, membership in the Society is now nearly
3000 with chapters throughout the Americas.

Florida Harpers and
Friends — Florida Harpers and Friends is a non-profit organization
for Florida harp players and friends. (Friends meaning fiddle, whistle, guitar,
flute, pipes and drum players.) We publish an informative quarterly newsletter,
organize a statewide harp workshop each year, and help in the organization of
satellite meetings coordinated for the membership in various areas of the state.

Harpers — We are the Midwest regional chapter of the ISFHC, The
International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen, Inc. Our chapter serves
amateur and professional players, builders, dealers of harp-related products and

Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and North

Historical Harp Society was formed in 1990 for North American friends
of the harp interested in the exchange of ideas and information about early
harps, their construction, and their music. The Society is devoted to
encouraging research on the building of early harps, harp music of the Middle
Ages, the Renaissance, and the Baroque, and the playing techniques of those eras
and their harps.

Music for Healing and Transition Program,
Inc. — The Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP) is a course of
study which, in recognition of music as a therapeutic enhancement to
the healing process and the life/death transition, prepares musicians to
serve the ill, dying, and to all those who may benefit, by providing
music as a service to create healing environments. Our graduates are
Music Practitioners. To advance our student interns in the development
of their skills, we affiliate with health care facilities and community
organizations.

NEO Harpers (North East Ohio Harpers) — NEO Harpers is the North East
Ohio chapter of the International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen (ISFHC).
Members include all levels of harpistry, from new beginner to professional
players. NEO Harpers is actively involved in promoting harpistry in Northeastern
Ohio, with members, and sometimes ensembles, running and/or appearing at the
Ohio Scottish Festival, Leetonia Celtic Festival, and other events around the
Cleveland/Akron/Canton areas.

The Scottish Harp Society of
America, Inc. — The Scottish Harp Society of America, Inc. (SHSA)
is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the the Scottish harp, the
clarsach, and its music both ancient and modern. Members of the Society include
musicians, harpmakers, and people who simply enjoy listening to the Scottish
harp. Membership in the Scottish Harp Society of America is open to all.
Membership includes a subscription to the Kilt & Harp, the quarterly news
letter of SHSA.
